Arshad Madem’s account is blocked in India – but Shahid Afridi and Babar Azam not cricket news

New Delhi: Pakistan’s Olympic spear champion Arshad MademA few days after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, the Instagram account in India was blocked in India on Wednesday evening, claiming the lives of 26 Indian tourists.
Visitors of Arshad’s Instagram profile met with a vacant page.
“The account is not available in India. The reason for this is that we have complied with a legal request to ban this material,” the message was read on the page when Madem’s account was opened.
However, Instagram accounts of many Pakistani cricketers – including Babar Azam, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi – are accessible in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a post on X (East Twitter), “Those people will be brought for justice behind this heinous act.”
“Our resolve to fight terrorism is unwavering and it will be even stronger,” he said.
