Srinagar: Two soldiers were killed and two more injured after falling into a deep gorge near the Line of Control (LOC) in Kupwara district of North Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon. In a similar tragedy in Ramban district, the accident occurred hardly two days after three army people lost their lives.Officials said that Tuesday’s accident occurred in the Teetwal area near Loc, when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, Who A steep slope rolled down and drowned in a gorge. A rescue operation was immediately launched, and four army people were taken to a nearby medical facility, where two soldiers were declared dead on arrival, an official said.Earlier on Sunday, three soldiers died when their trucks got out of the road and crashed in 700 feet-deep gorge in Ramban. The truck was part of a convoy from Jammu to Srinagar.
