He compared it to the idea of building a building without any human participation, which he said is impossible. He explained that human intervention is necessary, especially since a director could not spend time to operate AI tools to generate music. Instead, the director needs to focus on several other aspects of the project. Rahman emphasized the importance of someone who can carefully manage the mixture and tune, like a mother -in -law -taking mother. He also stated that the attempt to save money by removing the musician from the process is foolish.
Importance of leadership and cooperation
He explained that trying to do everything alone can actually harm the quality and intensity of one’s work. They believe that leadership and cooperation will always be necessary. Rahman mentioned that he would never convert a talented sitar player like Anushka Shankar or Asad Khan with an A-Journal version, calling it silly for some great options with an average machine-made copy. He prefers to use a real artist rather than relying on artificial creations, which lacks originality and feels like “Francle-like” of human creativity. However, he admitted that some aspects of generic art could be quite impressive.
As a tool for AI empowerment
He concluded explaining that AI provides empowerment to those who lack resources to make or shoot, allowing them to make movies or documentary from a simple room. This is especially valuable for subjects that cannot otherwise get money. They believe that it is a great idea to encourage children to use AI to express themselves or make stories. He mentioned that Shekharji came with this idea, which he fully supported. He also said that he plans to talk with Sam Altman to find out ways to empower these young creators. He admitted that when some people use AI for positive and strong purposes, others may misuse it to produce cheap or pornographic materials, highlighting the difference between good and bad intentions in the use of AI.
