Aamir Khan revealed his initial resistance for marriage consultation
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Aamir shared that he and Reena Dutta navigated her isolation and visited a marriage consultant for about one and a half years. Interestingly, the actor confessed that he was very resistant to consideration initially. He said, “Main Jab Pehli Dafa … Therapy toh Nahi Thai (my first time … I would not call it therapy); I think it was more like counseling,” he said.
Aamir admitted how reluctant he was in front of a stranger. Recalling that moment, he shared, “Jab reena aur main alag ho rahe tab kareban 1.5 year wedding counselor ke pass gaye.
He even told Reena that he could not imagine sharing his personal thoughts and feelings with someone he knew hardly. “How can I open my heart to a complete stranger?” Remembering him, he remembered him.
