Jaipur: Pink City is ready to host US vice -president JD Vance, his wife Usha and three children of the doubles on 22 April during its visit to India.
Part individual, Bhaag official visit, will see Vance with industry leaders and government officials going to Amber Fort and City Palace. He is also scheduled to address an industry ceremony on ‘business and technology’.
The security system in the city has intensified before Vance’s visit. Sources said that the American second family is likely to reach Jaipur on April 21, after the formal dinner of the Vice President with PM Narendra Modi in the evening first in the evening.
State officials involved in preparation said that many security agencies had started ground work to ensure a smooth and safe stay for the visiting digniter and their family. A team of officials conducted a security survey at Amber Fort. The second family is expected to leave for Agra on the morning of 23 April.
