You have a very special relationship with Salman Khan (through your mother). Can you tell us about it and how special do you make your cooperation with it?
I was raised by a single parents, and my mother did everything she could support me. He had a small role in a job film Kyon Ki …, a moment that I recently shared on social media. I remember that I was with him and thinking, I need to be a person next to Salman Khan, not standing behind. In childhood, I have dreamed of becoming an actor. As an outsider, it takes time for years of attempts to create an impression and countless auditions, which is why Alexander feels even more special. My mother unknowingly gave me a vision to pursue acting, but beyond this, her hard work and dedication shaped my journey – both financially and as a nutrition force in my life.
Did you get a chance to chat with the Salman off camera on the set? If so, how was it?
Trust me, every time I used to see Salman Khan on the set, I was strange. I remember the first day of the shoot – this was also my first scene in the film. I had long dialogues, and I kept thinking, you have to nail it; He is a star, you cannot bang. These probably only had my own perceptions and barriers. What if I falter? What would he say? But honestly, he was incredibly collaborative.
I did not get a chance to chat with him more than the camera, because most of the time, I was just strange. I will just look at him, think, oh my God, this is the man who danced to Oh Oh Oh Jane Jane, bare-body. Am i really working with her? If I had pushed myself to talk to him, I am sure he would be welcoming. But the safety was tight on the set, and we were not allowed to bring our phones as the manufacturers were strict about stopping any back footage from leaking.

Salman is a very big fan in the country. Meet her personally, do you think the madness around her stardom is appropriate?
I saw Alexander in the Gayty Galaxy for a reason. Stardom Salman Khan has spoken to himself for so many decades. I am not even in a position to comment on this because I am sure it takes great dedication and hard work to be a star of its caliber.
How is he as a person and as an actor?
Let me tell you a funny story. There was a scene where Salman Khan’s character, Alexander, had to buy things for many children in the film. And he really bought them. He took all the children to the mall and personally bought everything. That day, I really realized how generous and kind he is – naturally comes to him.
I also saw that many people of his team have been working with him for decades, who speaks about the kind of person he is.
