New Delhi: A video of Ajinkya Rahane, who disciplined Yashsvi Jaiswal during the 2022 Dalip Trophy final, has resumed online, which is going viral soon after the surprising decision of the young India’s opener, which was surprising to go from Mumbai to Goa for the upcoming domestic season.
The clip, now creating waves on social media, holds a warm moment during the last day game between the West and South region.

Jaiswal, then playing under Rahane’s captaincy for West Zone, was repeatedly warned by umpires for aggressive sledging, especially the batsman of South region T Ravi Teja.
When Jaiswal and Teja were engaged in an oral change during the 50th over, Rahen and umpires were forced to intervene.

The viral moment has become alive again as Jaiswal announced his departure from Mumbai CricketRequest a No Usection Certificate (NOC) to play for Goa in the 2025-26 season.
In his statement, Jaiswal thanked the Mumbai Cricket Association, but cited the reasons for personal and career for his move.
