An executive of Siemens Mobility, Agustin Estabobor, arrived in New York City from Barcelona, Spain, Spain, to celebrate one of his three children, Spanish newspaper El Dyro. The helicopter ride of all the five was part of the festival, as he planned to visit Manhattan on the first day in the city, which was traveling with the Statue of Liberty.
Escobar, his wife Mess Camprubi Montal, and his three children-4,5,11 years of age, were killed with an unknown pilot when the helicopter divided into mid-hwa and divided into cold, cold water of the Hudson River.

Escobar served as CEO of Rail Infrastructure in Siemens Mobility, Symence’s Transportation Solutions Division. Camprubí was the global commercialization manager for Siemens Energy, according to his LinkedIn page. Siemens Energy is an independent company that was closed from Siemens AG in 2020.
It is not yet known what exactly happened in the final moments of the helicopter. Chopper left Manhattan’s downtown heliport at 2.59 pm. After revolving around the Statue of Liberty, it flew north with the Hudson River, which reached the George Washington Bridge by 3:08 pm. After this it turned south with New Jersey Shorline, where this control was lost shortly after. In the middle, the copter pilot called the base that he was coming back to take fuel.
At 3.17 pm, several 911 calls were reported, indicating that the helicopter only flew for 15 minutes and already needed fuel. Two children were taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where they were declared dead. Four of the other, including pilots, were found dead on the spot.
The private company operating the helicopter was involved in the first two security incidents. The company’s CEO Michael Roth said that he was destroyed. “I am a father, a grandfather and my wife have not stopped crying since this afternoon,” he said.
