The Kannada crime drama ‘Agyathawasi’, directed by Janardan Chikkanna, received a positive response from the audience since its dramatic release on April 11, 2025, and is now ready for digital debut.The secret of a murder was established in Malnad regionFor those who missed the dramatic run, the film is scheduled to release on Zee5 from May 28, 2025. Set in Misty Malnad region of Karnataka during the late 1990s, the film is the mystery of a murder that examines the subjects of crime, silence and hidden truth within a quiet village.The story comes out in a peaceful village in Nalkeri, where Inspector Govindu, played by Rangay Raghu, leads a simple life as both a policeman and a farmer. When the local zamindar, Srinivasaiya (Sharath Lohitashwa) is found dead under mysterious circumstances, this peace disintegrates. Initially it seems that a natural death soon turns into a rare murder case, surprising the crime-free village and motivates Govindu to investigate.Dismiss the mysteryGovindu exposes connections to an unresolved case since the 1970s, which has long revealed burial secrets. The arrival of Rohit (Siddu Mulimani), which brings the first computer of the village, introduced a new layer to the mystery.
