The MI’s reply began poorly as Openers Will Jack and Ryan Recellton went early. Suryakumar and Naman Dhir (46 for 24) chased with a 69 -run partnership. However, the dismissal of Dhir by Digwesh Rathi-he transferred his now-the-letter “letter-writing” celebrations.
Suryakumar kept MI in hunting, but fell into Avesh Khan in the 17th over, causing a recession. 22 was needed from the final over, Pandya’s loan Six was not enough as MI stumbled in the final moments.
