It is undergoing 82 -year -old former US President who is undergoing biden medical evaluation, when doctors discovered a small nodule in their prostate during a regular physical examination, ABC News and New York Times reported on Monday and early Tuesday.NYT reported that Biden took a physical examination last week and spent on Friday in a hospital in Philadelphia.A spokesman told ABC News on Tuesday, “A regular physical examination found a small nodule in the prostate, which needed further evaluation.”Medical history in headlinesIt comes after Biden’s previous health concerns during its time in the development office. In February 2023, while still the president, a wound was removed from his chest. White House doctor Dr. Kevin O’Coner later confirmed that it was a basal cell carcinoma. O’Coner said at the time, “All cancer tissue was successfully removed. … No further treatment is required.”He explained that basal cell carcinoma usually does not spread like other skin cancer, but can grow up when untreated. “They, however, have the ability to increase size, resulting in a more important issue as well as challenges for surgical removal.”Biden underwent Mohs surgery before taking a position to remove many non-melonoma skin cancer. O’Coner assured the public last year that the biopsy site “healed well” and Biden would continue regular dermatologic monitoring.Questions on health and fitnessEven though O’Coner declared Biden “fit for duty” in February 2024, his age, health and questions about mental acuity. These concerns were seen as the contribution of factors to his decision to withdraw from the re -election race of 2024.In a recent joint interview with former first woman Jill Biden on The View, Biden strongly pushed back against claims that her mental acuity had declined. “They are wrong,” they said. “There is nothing to maintain it.”According to NYT, the interview came just a day before the hospital visit in Philadelphia.Since leaving the post in January, Biden has maintained a low public profile, but has performed some media, including US President Trump’s first 100 -day office.
