New Delhi: Kolkata Knight RidersMystery Spinner Varun chakravarti A cryptic Instagram Story was posted by the Assistant Coach of the Indian cricket team by the Control Board (BCCI) for cricket in India, tagging KKR coach Abhishek Nair.
In Instagram Story, Varun posted an image of himself in KKR colors with Nair.
Nair with a three-time IPL champion created his reputation as a fast, player-first mentor during his time. He is credited with playing an important role in shaping talents like Shubman Gill, Venkatesh Iyer and Chakraborty.
Fans quickly lifted it on a possible return for Nair, linked to BCCI’s recent decision, which is strongly associated with India’s Test series with Assistant Coach Nair, Fielding Coach T Dilip, and Strength and Conditioning Coach Soham Desai to lose to New Zealand and Australia after India’s Test series.

It is worth noting that Nair was elected by hand by India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir, after his stellar term with KKR, who won the IPL 2024 title under his mentarship.
Nevertheless, after less than a year with the national setup, their contract, has been valid, to be shortened by 31 May.
So far, there has been no confirmation on the interest of franchise in reunion.
