HCL Tech, Havells & Peacock: Top Stock on Brokers Radar for April 24

UBS upgraded Chola investment to ‘buy’, with the target price to Rs 1,950. Analysts said the company was the best combination of development and ROE (returning to equity). The company has a liver to increase its assets 25% annually under management.They feel that the credit cost of chola investment was most likely in FY 25. They also expect ROA (return to property) FY27 will improve by 2.3% up to 2.3% by fY27 by 2.3%.
JP Morgan has upgraded HCL Tech to ‘Overweight’ with a target price of Rs 1,750. Analysts stated that HCL Tech’s mass marches numbers were in-line with FY26 guides which have not been done by post tariff macro factors. Services have now performed forward or equal with peers of the fastest growing scale for the third year in a row. He said with stock trading on 4% dividend yield and 6% free cash flow yield, the value is in stock
Nomura’s Havells India has a ‘buy’ rating with a target price of Rs 1,873. Analysts stated that Jan-Margine Cables and Wire were ahead of estimates with demand tailwinds seen from Lloyd. They are going ahead, operating leverage to run the margin of halls. They expect healthy demand telwind in cable.
Morgan Stanley’s AU Small Finance Bank has a ‘outperform’ rating with a target price of Rs 750. Analysts stated that the bank gave 1.5% ROA, which was much higher than of peers despite high interest rates, tight liquidity and height property stress. They feel over the next two years, the ROA may expand as the rate cycle has changed and the quality of the MFI asset improves.
HSBC has a ‘buy’ rating on Mahindra and Mahindra with a target price of Rs 3,320. Analysts feel that M&M’s earnings upgradation cycle is already behind and an increase in FY26 income may be better than most other auto companies. They feel that EV traction is important and the beginning is packed, and in EV demand is an important reverse catalyst for pick-up stock. Evaluation is appropriate considering a strong competitive position in tractors, LCVs and SUVs.
