Rohit Shetty, who is known for making hit Cop Universe Films in Bollywood, recently talked about his franchise, which he did not plan for the sequel. He also shared that ‘Simba’ and ‘Sorivanshi‘There will be a sequel soon.

Shetty revealed that there was no preliminary plan to create a universe during the construction of Singham. When he made Singham, he did not know that the film would become such a big brand. During Simba’s scripting, the idea of adding stories to films came only later, which eventually created a common universe with the introduction of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sorivanshi’.

The filmmaker highlighted the idea process behind the 2024 mega-project Singham, which brings together the host of both old and new characters. The team had already imagined how new entrances like Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff would be introduced and how their statements would be revealed.
Shetty clarified, “So, it’s not just that they are coming for 10-15 minutes and after that, they have no work.” The intentions were always to craft different arcs for these characters, pointing to the Solo Ventures for both Deepika and Tiger Shroff in the future.
Singham again turned out to be a huge hit, which included Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff.
