In a conversation with Hindi Rush, Rahul reflected on his time while working with Aamir for Dangal. He described Aamir as highly powered, ambitious and an excellent judge of character who knows how to choose the right person for a task and trusts him to do his work. Rahul also recalled a controversy during the shooting in Ludhiana, where Aamir made a statement expressing insecurity. This led to protests outside his hotel, offering a reward for anyone who slapped Aamir. Despite the stressful situation, Aamir remained concentrated, sticking to his diet and routine without breaking his commitments.Controversy and Aamir’s cool response
Rahul remembered how the superstar remained calm and was composed during the dispute around him. Aamir assured everyone that the situation would pass in a day or two and he had dealt with similar situations earlier. Rahul, who was with Aamir and surrounded by BSF security, was worried that Aamir could break his diet under pressure, but Aamir remained stable, avoiding temptations such as ice cream or drinks. The incident occurred in 2015, following Aamir’s controversial statement about feeling insecure in India due to increasing intolerance.

Rahul also mentioned that there were times when Aamir would reach the gym in front of him. He recalled how Aamir would start his training session at 4:15 am, and sometimes his bodyguard woke him up, only to inspire Aamir and find hard at work.

He further shared that Aamir Khan, while maintaining his muscle training, reduced his body fat by 39 percent. Despite no restriction on water, Aamir followed a strict diet, consumed 2200 to 2700 calories per day. Aamir initially worried about a high-protein diet due to kidney issues, but once convinced, he trusted guidance and made his own informed decisions after considering various ideas.
