Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh tied the knot with Hazel Keech in December 2016. They had a traditional Anand Karej ceremony Fatehgarh Sahib Gurdwara, after a Hindu wedding in Goa on 2 December. Yuvraj Singh and his mother, Shabnam Singh, recently appeared in an interview with curly stories. During the chat, Yuvraj revealed that she was rebuked by her mother very in the morning and jokingly admitted that she likes Chawal, the story of her grandmother over her mother. When asked about his first meeting with Hazel Keech, Shabnam recalled a cute young girl while trying to attract Yuvraj’s attention by catching popcorn at one of his events.

When Yuvraj Singh appeared in the Kapil Sharma show with Hazel Keech, he shared a difficult journey yet how he first met. He said that he contacted Hazel at a party and asked for coffee from him. Hazel did not respond, but she did not want to hurt her ego – so she just switched off her phone. This happened about seven to eight times!

Later, when Yuvraj came to know about cancer, he informed Hazel, and he greeted him. But they are still not in touch. Nearly three years later, Yuvraj noticed that a friend of him was associated with Hazel on Facebook. He warned his friend that Hazel had completely ignored him for years. He removed her, thinking, “He didn’t even give me the time of day. He feels who he is?”
Love that took time to bloom
But Destiny had other plans. Despite everything, Yuvraj confessed, “I still wanted to marry this girl.” Even after joining again, it took another year to say yes to Hazel – waiting for Yuvraj patiently.
A proud and loving mother
Yuvraj Singh is actually a Mama’s boy, and his mother, Shabnam Singh, is full of deep love and respect. He lifted Yuvraj and his brother Jorwar alone, and while marrying his beloved son with the love of his life, Hazel Keech gave him great pleasure.
Shabnam openly welcomed Hazel in the family and shared in an interview with Hindustan Times, how proud he felt when he felt Yuvraj’s wedding.
