New Delhi: Tesla soon set to launch cars in India, and in the final stages of the governance approval process, the SATCOM Venture Starlink, on Saturday, US Tech billionaire Elon Musk said he would visit the country later this year, spoke to PM Narendra Modi on a telephone.
“It was an honor to talk with PM Modi. I am eager to visit India later this year!” Musk said on X, as he responded to Modi’s post on his conversation.
On Friday, Modi posted on X, “Talked to Elon Musk and talked about various issues, which included subjects involved during their meeting earlier this year during their meeting. We discussed the immense potential of cooperation in the fields of technology and innovation. India is committed to advancing our partnership with America in these domains.”
Modi and Musk met during the PM’s visit to the US in February. He discussed opportunities and cooperation between the businesses of the two countries in areas such as electric vehicles, space and renewable energy.
Musk’s plans appear when in 2024 he suddenly canceled his planned journey to India, although he was traveling to China a few days later. However, things later became hot again, especially Bonomi between PM and Musk.
Tesla has been working on its entry plan in India for years, and is likely to launch cars soon through the import route. Musk is coming to India later this year
Elon Musk said that on Saturday he will visit India later this year, as Tesla prepares to launch cars in the country and is in the final stages of the approval process of the SACCOM VERCOT Starlink government. Musk’s comment on X came a day later when he spoke to PM Modi on telephone, and came in response to PM’s post on his chat.
