New Delhi: Referring to India’s rich heritage, Rajya Sabha Vice President Harivansh said on Friday that even after India emerged from the shadow of colonial rule after independence, it is only “later” later that India has started talking with pride about its culture and ancient heritage, and this credit goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. ,
He was speaking on the release of a compilation of ideas on PM Modi’s speeches and culture, titled ‘Panchwa Chapter of Sanskrit’, which was released on Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA).World Heritage Day‘Celebrated every year on 18 April.
After releasing the book, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Awadhanhand Giri, Head of Juna Akhara, said, “Since Narendra Modi has become PM in 2014, a certain change has taken place. People now discuss cultural topics with more depth and pride.”
Citing an example, he said, “In 2008, an Indian guru living in Europe made a lot of efforts for the International Yoga Day Institute and sought help from the Indian government. In 2016, Modi made it a reality. Today, June 21 is celebrated as the international yoga day around the world-evidence for his commitment to India’s cultural heritage.”
