US President Donald Trump on Friday praised Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, saying he made a “spectacular impression” during a visit to the United States.
Sharing a post on Truth Social, Trump posted, “Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni was great in her visit to the White House yesterday. She loves her country, and she was fantastic on everyone who leaves the impression !!!”
Meloni replied on X, “Thank you, President Trump!”
He further stated that Italy-US cooperation is “based on general values ​​and a long friendship.”
“We will continue to work together to strengthen the bond between our people and face global challenges with determination,” he said.
