The US man hijack plane in Belize goes to stabbing spright, the injured passenger is shot by mid-air world news

An American citizen on Friday kidnapped a domestic flight in Belize, stabbed two passengers and pilots in a mid-hwa attack.
One of the victims, despite suffering from significant injuries, managed to shoot the mid-flight to the attacker, Belize and officials in the United States confirmed.
The aircraft eventually landed safely, which the authorities said that a collective casualty incident could occur.

Tropic Air CEO Maximilian Graff said, “In front of inconsistent pressure, our pilot worked with extraordinary courage and calm, directed the aircraft for a safe landing. His work was no less than heroic.”
The pilot and two passengers were stabbed, rushed to a hospital. Their injuries were described as severe but survival, one of which was in critical condition.
Who was the kidnapper?
Belize Police Commissioner Chester Williams recognized the kidnapper as an American citizen, Akinila Sava Taylor, which he described as a military veteran. US officials said they could not confirm Taylor’s experienced position.
According to Williams, Taylor demanded that the aircraft divert courses, several times to fly in Mexico, and insisted on fueling the aircraft land at one point. During the conflict, he stabbed the pilot and two passengers. One of the passengers managed to take out a licensed gun despite Fitzgerald Brown, stabbing the back and suffering from a puncture lungs. Brown shot Taylor inside the plane. He later handed over arms to the officers.
“We are praying for him,” Williams told reporters. “He is our hero.”
The other injured passenger was identified as Jer Casteneda, and the injured pilot as a hovel grang, according to a tropic air officer who spoke on the condition of anonymity, as he was not authorized to talk to the media. The nationality of Brown and Casteneda has not been released yet.
In a press briefing in Washington, US State Department spokesman Tami Bruce described the kidnapping as “horrific” and praised the passengers and crew.
“We are grateful, I think we are all, that it did not turn into a large -scale casualties, I believe with more than a dozen people in the aircraft,” Bruce said. “Clearly we know some details. We don’t know much.”
Luke Martin, a spokesman of the US embassy in Belize, confirmed that Taylor had demanded to return to the United States during the ordinance. “We don’t know why he wanted to return to the United States,” Martin said.
Officials of the two countries said that the aim of kidnapping is unclear, and investigation is on.
