Bomb blasts near Athens Train Office amid recent protests in 2023 railway disaster; No injury

A bomb went near the offices of the offices late on Friday Halenic train In Central Athens, Greece. There was no injury, but the explosion caused limited damage.
This site is located on Syngrou Avenue, a busy area filled with restaurants and bars. Police confirmed that the bomb was placed inside a bag near the building. Forensic authorities were seen at the location of evidence.
Local media reported that both a newspaper and a news website received an anonymous call warning about the bomb, which exploded about 40 minutes ago.
The Halenic train issued a statement that confirmed that the explosion came very close to its main offices. The company said that the officials immediately responded to the warning, and said it was working closely with the authorities to ensure the safety of the employees.

Greece has a long history of politically conducted violence. While old extremist groups have been destroyed, small people keep attacking. Last year, a person was killed while trying to make a bomb in the Central Athens, who renewed concerns about domestic extremism.
