New Delhi: Karnataka Home Minister Jee Parmeshwar In Bengaluru, the recent tampering incident has come into the fire for his comments. The minister reduced the seriousness of the incident, saying that such incidents are common in big cities like Bengaluru, a comment that has been widely criticized to despise crime.Zee Parmeshwar said, "Such incidents happen here and there in such a big city. Whatever legal action should be taken will be done according to the law. I have also instructed our commissioner to increase beat patrol."The incident occurred on 3 April, when a person allegedly molested a woman on a secluded road in the Bharti Layout area of Sudguntapalya. CCTV footage from the shared scene on social media shows the man who is contacting two women, which runs with a narrow lane at around 1.52 pm. He then pushes one of the women against a wall before forcibly migrated.In response, the Bengaluru police registered a Soo Motu case after seeing the footage.
