‘It won’t be easy’: Trump asked Americans to ‘hang hard’ amidst the increase in tariff war

US President Donald Trump on Saturday doubled his widespread tariff policies, claiming that China has been “very tough” in the ongoing trade war between the world’s two largest economies.
His remarks came a day after the US stock markets were tumble, which worked about a possible global recession.
Carry True socialTrump defended the economic impact of his tariff strategy, called it a “economic revolution”. He wrote: “China has been killed very hardly compared to the United States, not even close. They, and many other countries, and many other nations have treated us badly. We dumb and helpless ‘whipping posts,’ but not at any time. We have never before. We never before. Historical. Make America great again,
Trump’s comments followed China’s announcement that it would impose mutual 34% tariffs on all American imports starting from April 10. The move came in response to Trump’s response to his decision to slap additional 34% tariffs on Chinese goods entering the US, to increase stress and already stressful US-China business relations.
In a statement, China’s State Council Tariff Commission condemned the American step, called it “a specific unilateral bullying practice” that violates the international trade norms and “seriously reduces China’s legitimate rights and interests.”
However, Trump rejected Beijing’s reaction as a sign of weakness. He claimed that China was “nervous” after the new tariff announced Thursday’s announcement.
