‘Hands of!’: Donald Trump and Musk’s nationwide protest against cuts in government

Thousands of protesters are expected to be taken to the streets on Saturday in protest against the policies launched by US President Donald Trump and billionaire businessman Elon Musk.
“Close hands!” The movement has organized more than 1,200 rallies in all 50 states, supported by more than 150 civil rights groups, trade unions, LGBTQ+ advocates, veterans and fair-election campaigners.
Major meetings are planned at the National Mall in Washington, DC, as well as the state capital and other major places. Protests with the aim of opposing the major government’s changes believe that critics believe that people can weaken their jobs and civil rights and essential services.
The protesters are concerned about the efforts of the administration to reduce security for thousands of federal workers, close social security offices, deported immigrants, transgender individuals and to reduce the funding of healthcare. It also increases about what they describe as the “effective disruption” of the entire government agencies.
Elon Musk, who is serving as the head of the newly formed department of government efficiency, became a central person in the dispute. As the owner of Tesla, SpaceX and Social Media Platform X, Musk has deployed himself as a reformer who is committed to cutting waste and saving taxpayer’s money.
He said that he is saving billions of dollars to taxpayers.
Although protests against Trump and Musk have been exploded several times since Trump returned to the White House in January, no one has yet reached the scale of historical demonstrations such as 2017 Women March or The Black Live Lives Matter Protests 2020 protests.
