Devendra Fadnavis claimed Sanjay Raut’s claim on PM Modi’s ‘Lump Retirement’

Nagpur: Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on Monday dismissed speculation about his possible candidature for the role of the Prime Minister in 2029, stating that PM Narendra Modi remains a ‘undisputed leader of BJP’ and has a lot of service.
Fadnavis dismissed the claim of Army UBT member Sanjay Raut that Modi’s visit to Hazwad Memorial in Rehimbag baseless his adjacent retirement, which as baseless. “In Hindu culture, a child is not considered a replacement for his father, while the father is still alive. Such succession occurs in the Mughal culture, not ours. Modi remains our leader, and the BJP is committed to continue him as PM ahead of 2029,” he said.
Raut claimed that Modi’s visit to the RSS Hedwar Memorial this year was to indicate the outdoor politics in the sept, further suggesting that Modi’s successor would be from Maharashtra and will be finalized by the Sangh. Modi turned 75 in the sept, and the BJP has an informal rule that the leaders beyond this age should not hold ministerial positions.
Fadnavis criticized former-Congress chief Sonia Gandhi National education policyWhich he called a ‘communal, tremendous agenda’. Defending the policy, he emphasized the need to abolish the British-class education structure. “British designed an education system to weaken the Indian identity. Lord Macaulay clearly stated in his letter that British cannot rule until India’s indigenous education was abolished. No patriot should support efforts to make our education system Indian. Sonia should study these reforms properly and expand the support,” she said.
On the concern of MNS chief Raj Thackeray and the rural crisis, during his Gudi Padwa speech on Sunday, Fadnavis said, “We are working to take everyone in running the government. They raised some important points, and we will believe them.
Addressing Thackeray’s comments on the deteriorating situation of rivers in the state, the CM pointed out the ongoing efforts to rejuvenate the state’s water resources, especially Godavari.
