Bollywood director Sanoj Mishra, who offered a film role to Mahakumba’s viral sensation Monalisa, has been arrested by Delhi Police in a rape case. The arrest was made after the Delhi High Court dismissed his bail plea.

The complainant also alleged that Sanoj Mishra lured him of false promises of marriage and film opportunities.
Following its complaint, the Delhi Police quoted ANI as saying as per a statement, including rape, attacks, and criminal intimidation, an FIR against Mishra under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The woman confirmed her allegations in a statement registered under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CRPC). Meanwhile, the police collected medical records related to alleged abortion from Muzaffarnagar as part of the investigation.
