Bike taxi captain and woman attack each other in Bengaluru, police arrested man

Bengaluru: A Rapido bike taxi captain was arrested on Monday for slapping a female rider in Bengaluru, who objected to his alleged rash ride. However, the accused said that it was the woman who had earlier attacked her.A video recorded by a passer -by shows both arguments and the captain can be seen slapping the woman who loses his balance and knocked on. Later, the police collected CCTV footage from a building, showing the woman first attacking the captain.The accused bike captain, 28 -year -old Suman was arrested on a complaint filed by Pillian Rider, Priya (name changed). He has been booked under several sections of BNS.Talking to Toi, Priya said that the incident took place on June 13, when she was on her way to work. He booked a Rapido bike, and Suman was assigned a ride. According to Priya, the ride was thick as Suman was violating traffic rules from Lade, and even making a round.He said, “I requested him to slow down and follow the route shown on the map, but refused to listen,” he said, he finally decided to end the ride when his office was about 200 meters away.Priya said that as soon as he got off the bike, Suman got into a debate with her to end the ride ahead of time. “When I counter, he barely slapped me,” he said, “In the bid to save myself, I also attacked him.”Suman later told the police that it was Priya who killed her first, which lost her cool. “Since there was a large traffic crowd on the main roads, I took the inner streets. But the woman kept shouting and abusing me to take a separate route. When he reached Jayanagar Block III, when he abused me again, I lost my cool. She spoke to my parents. When I warned him, he slapped me.
