India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir returned home on June 12 as his mother suffered a heart attack on 11 June. According to sources, Gambhir is currently with his mother who is in the intensive care unit (ICT) of Delhi Hospital.Treatment is still going on and is likely to re -join the first side before the first test against the head coach England, which is going on on 20 June. The exact date of the journey will depend on his mother’s position.Gambhir traveled to England with the Indian cricket team on 6 June and is preparing in Becanham before the five-test series.
