New Delhi: The dead body examination report of King Raghuvanshi – who was killed during his honeymoon in Meghalaya – revealed that he maintained head injuries with a sharp -cutting weapon.Herbert Pinid Kharagor, head of Meghalaya’s Special Investigation Team, said, “Post mortem said there are two head injuries with a sharp cutting weapon.”It was arrested from the king’s wife Sonam, along with three conspirators, from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The three have been hired by Sonam to kill their husband Raja.Vishal Chauhan, Raj Kushwaha, and Akash Rajput have been arrested in the case, while Meghalaya Police is on his way to formally arrest Sonam, wife of Raja Raghuvanshi from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh.Speaking with ANI, SIT Chief and SP (City), East Khasi Hills, Kharakongor also mentioned that his team is about to reach Gazipur in Uttar Pradesh, where he would arrest Sonam, who had surrendered before the UP Police today.“The first challenge was the area and then the weather, but finally we challenged and discovered the king’s body, registered the murder case and started an investigation. Four persons have been arrested and production will be produced before the courts concerned. We will receive their transit remand to bring them to Shillong.“We formed SIT with competent authorities in the case. Last night, we sent two teams, one to Uttar Pradesh and the other to Madhya Pradesh. The pattern is saying that Raja and Sonam did not have good contact, but it is a matter of investigation,” SIT chief said.The crime came out after the couple – who recently got married – went missing during his honeymoon in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya on 23 May. He was last seen examining out of a homestay in Nongrite.His rented scooter was later released near Sohrim. Ten days later, the king’s body was discovered in a deep gorge near Weisavadong Falls in the eastern Khasi hills.A Mache was also recovered nearby on suspicion of murder weapon. Sonam had been unaware till Monday. Connecting to the conspiracy, a local tourist guide claimed that the couple was seen with three men on May 23, while they were trekking from Nongrite. He said that he had given his services to the first couple, but he hired another guide. Police say the investigation is still going on, and there is a possibility of further arrest.Meanwhile, Sonam was arrested around 3 am on Monday, when she called her family to reveal her place in a roadside restaurant. His family alerted the Indore police, which coordinated with Uttar Pradesh officials. The Ghazipur police took him for medical examination before sending him to an one-stop center.ADG (Law and Order) Amitabh Yash said, “He will be handed over to the Meghalaya Police, who is leading the investigation.
