A video of an Indian student handcuffed and pinned on the floor at an airport in the United States, before he was deported, he has created massive resentment. The clip was shared by X user Kunal Jain, an Indian-American social entrepreneur who writes books in Hindi, and recently shifted to India. According to Singh, the incident occurred at Newark Airport. He tagged the Indian Embassy, as well as the Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, demanded help for the boy.“I exiled a young Indian student from Newark Airport last night, weeping, treated as a criminal. He came chasing dreams, not damaged. As an NRI, as an NRI, I was helpless and heartbroken. It’s a human tragedy,” he posted on his social media handle.“The parents of this poor child will not know what is happening to him. @Indinembassyus @drsjaishankar He was to ride with me in a single flight last night, but he never rode. Somebody needed to find out what is happening to him in New Jersey officials. I found him disrupted,” I said. “In addition, he said that it appeared from the pronunciation of the student that the latter is from the state of North Haryana in India. The boy, he noted, was shouting, “I am not crazy … they are bent into hell to prove that I am crazy.”“These children get their visa and get on a flight in the morning. For some reason, they are unable to explain the reason for their journey of immigration officers and are tied back on the evening flight like criminals. 3-4 such cases are happening every day. There have been more such cases in the last few days,” Jain has written.According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the administration of US President Donald Trump has exerted 1,080 Indian nationals from the US since assuming power in January.
