When Govinda signed 75 films in 21, Dilip Kumar asked him to drop 25 Hindi film news

Govinda is one of the most loved actors in Hindi cinema, known for hit films like ‘Hero No. 1’, ‘Head Kar Di Apne’, ‘Dulah Raja’, ‘Kooli No.1’, and ‘Partner’. He was also one of the few stars who signed several films in his career long ago. In an interview, he revealed that at just 21 years of age, he signed 75 films, but later decided to move forward with just 50.In a podcast interview with Manish Paul, Govinda shared a throbac story about his signature competition. He said, “The main film line Meen Kahan Aya, Muje film line was Thamai Gai.He recalled a chat with the late veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who advised him to leave 25 of the 75 films that he signed. Govinda replied that he had already taken the signature amount and asked, “Main money Lutounga Kis.”However, the experienced actor convinced him to return the amount of signature, assuring him that God would help do so. Govinda took his advice and left 25 films.Being a new star in business, he also shared that he often fell ill on the set due to his busy schedule. At one point, he worked for a non-stop for more than two weeks and did not sleep directly for 16 days.Govinda made his Bollywood debut in 1986 with Love 86. He acted in many films like ‘accusations’, ‘Sada Suhagan’, ‘Dadagiri’, ‘Do Qadi’, ‘Khudgaraz’, and ‘Jeta Hain Se’ during the 1980s.In the 1990s, he along with director David Dhawan worked for several hit comedy films, which are still liked today. Govinda was last seen on the big screen in ‘Rengela Raja’ released in 2019.
