New Delhi: In a severe act, a 26 -year -old man allegedly insisted his wife on suspicion of infidelity on the outskirts of Bengaluru and surrendered with his deadly head riding in the police station, police said on Saturday.The incident occurred late Friday night in the village of Helas near Chandpura in Alleck Taluk. The accused, known as Shankar, was arrested soon after confessing to killing his wife, 25 -year -old Mansa at the police station.According to the police, the couple had been married for more than five years and shared a four -year -old daughter. Both were employed with private firms; Shankar worked in Kormangla and Mansa in Bommasandra.Logic becomes fatalPolice said Shankar suspected his wife to have an additional relationship, which was the cause of frequent controversies between them. Recently after an argument, Manas went with his mother. She returned on Friday evening, allegedly trying to reconcile her daughter for the sake of her daughter.A senior police officer said, “Around 8 o’clock, the couple joined another hot argument. Manas refused any relationship. During the confrontation, in a fit of anger, Shankar took a sickle and nodded her head.”After a horrific acting, Shankar left the body inside the house and took his head to the nearest police station on his scooter, where he confessed to the crime.Schematic murder, police sayInitial investigation suggests that the murder was prepared. “He bought sickle from a shop near his house a few days ago, which indicates that he would be planning an act,” the official said.The police have registered a case of murder and taken Shankar into custody. The severe head and the weapon of murder have been recovered. Further investigation is going on.
