Fighting parties for attacks business faults:
Assistance agencies said the convoy was attacked, trying to reach L-Fashar City, one of the last strongholds of the Sudani Army in Darfur. Since 2024, L-Fasher is subject to siege by RSF forces.Trucks traveled over the Red Sea more than 1,800 km (1,100 mi) from the eastern city of Port Sudan. “This was the United Nations Humanist convoy that was going to make L-Fasher in a year,” United Nations spokesman Stephen Dusarric told reporters at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The RSF claimed in a statement that the convoy was hit by a military aircraft in a “pre -planned attack”.However, Sudan’s military -led government dismissed it and said in a statement that the aid trucks were “attacked by a trusted attack by the attack drone.”No report can be verified independently.
