The Hindu Canadian Foundation defends Anita Anand for her conversation with Jaishankar, called the world Sikh organization for ‘bullying’

Anita Anand, the first Indian-origin Foreign Minister of Canada, spoke on the telephone with her Indian counterpart S Jaishankar recently and called the discussion to strengthen the Canada-India relationship. HCF said, “Despite party affiliation, elected officials should remain accountable to Canadian people who prioritize the good of the country on the external influences or interests of the country that do not align with the country’s widespread goals,” HCF said. “Thanks minister @drsjaishankar today to strengthen the Canada -India to strengthen our economic cooperation and to carry forward shared priorities. I am eager to continue my work together,” Anand posted after his conversation with Jaishankar.Jaishankar wrote on X, “Appreciate Telecon with FM @anitaanandmp of Canada. Discussed the possibilities of India-Canada relations. He was wished for a very successful tenure.”
