This showed a Pakistani player entangled with his Indian counterpart in a handshake of an unusman. Initially after remembering the handshek, the Pakistani player contacted the second time to pull away suddenly in an abusive manner.
The Indian player, however, was calm and unaffected, showing remarkable composition.The incident came amid increasing tension between India and Pakistan on 22 April after the Pahgam terror attack, which left 26 people – most of the tourists were released. In vengeance, India launched accurate air strikes on 7 May, which targeted nine terrorist camps associated with groups like Jai-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen in Pakistan and Poke, allegedly killed more than 100 militants.While India described the attacks as “measured and focused”, Pakistan responded with drone attacks on Indian military installations near the border, leading to a moment-reaction to India.After three days of across the border, the two nations agreed to shut down on fire on 10 May.
