Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Thursday signed Tim Safart as a replacement of Jacob Bethel, who are ready to leave for England’s national duties.RCB said in a statement, “New Zealand’s explosive wicketkeeper Batter, Tim Safart, is named as a temporary replacement of RCB for Jacob Bethel, which returns to England for national duties after our SRH match.”Tim Safart has played 66 T20I and scored 1540 runs against his name. He will join RCB for Rs 2 crore.The 30 -year -old has previously played in IPL 2021 and 2022 for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capital (DC) respectively.
21 -year -old Bethel depicted RCB in two matches, scoring 67, with 55 he had the highest score against Chennai Super Kings. Bethle will be available for RCB’s final league-stage match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 23 May before his departure.The replacement will be effective from May 24.
