The Junior Cricket Committee has named 17 -year -old Mumbai opener Ayush Mahatre captain for the upcoming tour of England.The tour includes 50 over warm-up matches, followed by two-day-old one-day series of five matches and two multi-day matches against U-19 with two multi-day matches of England.The 16-year-old squad also consists of 14-year-old Vaibhav Sorvanshi, who has burnt the Indian Premier League (IPL) with his swashing batting.In seven outings for Rajasthan Royals, Sorwanshi has scored 252 runs with a strike rate of 206.56.Sorvanshi, who turned only 14 years old last month and was signed for Rs 1.1 crore in last year’s auction, became the youngest player to feature in the first IPL in April and had an immediate impact by hitting his first ball for six in his beginning.
