Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has questioned Virat Kohli’s decision to retire from Test cricket. Ganguly said that he was surprised by Kohli’s retirement from Test cricket. Ganguly told reporters at an event in Kolkata, “Kohli’s retirement has surprised me.”Virat scored 9,230 runs on an average of 46.85 with 30 centuries and 31 fifties, and ended as India’s fourth largest run-run in the format.Earlier this week, Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket. Rohit was the first to call his red-ball career on time, and a few days later, Kohli followed the suit, making a large-scale zero in the team.Ganguly said, “This is his own decision. Can anyone leave the game without his wish? But it has been a great career, and he goes to Rohit Sharma.”
