The operation is in progress,” he said.It was a few days after India and Pakistan, after a sharp increase in the border-limit tension starting with a deadly migrant attack on April 22 in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir, immediately agreed to the ceasefire.Pakistan responded with drone attacks targeting areas in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat. These attacks were interrupted by Indian defense systems, but the possibility of widespread conflict between two nuclear-head neighbors increased.However, a few hours after the declaration of ceasefire, violations were observed by Pakistan in Srinagar and other border areas.Meanwhile, the government also announced that any future “work of terror” on its soil would be considered as a “war of war” and replied accordingly.A top government official had said, “Any future work of terror in India will be considered as a war work against the country and replied accordingly.” The statement has a formal change in India’s engagement rules, which draws a clear red line for the Pakistan-based terrorist groups.
