Harvey Venstein’s lawyer grills pre-model, who says he sexually assaulted him in his teenage age

New York: Harvey Venstein lawyers on Friday sought doubts about a pre-model allegation that he sexually assaulted him in his teenage age, portraying him as a wanted actor, who tried to take advantage of the former studio boss.Defense lawyer Mike Siebella said, “You believed that if you had an agreement with Mr. Venstein, you will take your leg to the door and become a film star,” said Defense advocate Mike Sibella.“No, this did not happen,” Kaj Socola replied. “I never had a relationship with Mr. Wenstein.” During one day of interrogation, Sibella suggested that Socola did not tell the whole story of his conversation with Venstein. At one point, Sibella repeatedly asked if she invited Veenstein to a New York apartment – and in the bedroom – where she was living in 2005. He denied this. “I didn’t want any shortcut from Mr. Wenstein. I wanted him to be honest with me,” Socola later testified at a point, her voice became hot. He said that the Oscar winning manufacturer promised to help fulfill his acting ambitions, but instead “broke my dreams, and he broke my self -esteem.” The Polish psychiatrist has accused Veenstein of repeatedly sexually abusing when she was a teenage fashion model. Some of the allegations are beyond the legal time limit for criminal allegations, but Winstein faces a Criminal Sex Act allegation on Socola’s claim that he forced him oral sex in 2006. The prosecutors added charges in the landmark #MeToo case last year, after an appeal court overturned Vensteten’s 2020 sentence. The guilty decision relates to the allegations of two other women who have testified or are required again. 73 -year -old Venstein has requested not to be guilty and sometimes refuses to have sexual harassment with someone. 39-year-old Polish-born Socola had a jet-setting modeling career as a teenager. She testified earlier this week that Venstein exploited her young interest in an acting career, which began in 2002, to subjugate her to unwanted sexual advances, while she was 16 years old on a modeling trip to New York.
