IPL 2025 suspended for a week with immediate effect, confirm BCCI

The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed on Friday (May 9) that IPL 2025 has been suspended for one week with immediate effect. As a result, today’s stability between Lucknow Super Veterans and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Lucknow has been discontinued. The stability of the previous day between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capital was also postponed in Dharmasala.In a statement, BCCI Honorary Secretary Devjit Saikia Said, “The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to suspend the remaining Tata IPL 2025 with immediate effect for a week.
