It did not come for a long time when Pakistan fired eight missiles directed in Satvari, Samba, RS Pura and Arnia and all were stopped and blocked by air defense units.Earlier, the stability between PBK and MI was taken to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad as the government had announced the closure of the airspace in Dharamasala and nearby cities. After closing PBKS vs. DC, both teams returned to their hotel. The entire contingent with officials and broadcasting crew left Dharamasala on a special train on today (May 9).BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla confirmed, “We are organizing a train to bring back all safely. The match has been closed, and the stadium has been vacated. We will decide on the future of the tournament based on tomorrow’s situation, but the player security is our highest priority.”While no IPL space was in danger, the overall spirit forced a temporary stop of the tournament to potentially prioritize security and national security. Foreign players were allegedly worried, demanding assurance from the BCCI and the Government of India to stay in the country. Before the IPL was closed, Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians had already arrived in Delhi and Ahmedabad respectively.
