The protesters alleged that several people were injured in the police action. However, the authorities denied the claim.
One of the candidates, Kriti Dutta said that he had been protesting for the last four months.
Dutta said, “We have approached everyone from ministers to secretaries and MLAs, but no one gave us any solution.”
Another candidate said, “The Education Minister had assured us that a letter was sent to BPSC about the issue. But nothing has been done so far.”
BPSC organized TRE-3 for 87,774 posts in March 2024. However, around 51,000 candidates have received their appointment letters so far.
‘Government’s fashion’ to protect criminals and sticks and students: Tejashvi Yadav
RJD leader Tejashvi Yadav condemned Lati-Charges and expressed his solidarity with the aspirations of protests.
In a post on X, Yadav wrote, “We today condemn the police action on protesters. When youth demand justice, their voice is brutally crushed … It has become the fashion of NDA governments in the center and state to crush the voice of the youth.”
“Students were protesting in a democratic way today. This disabled government protects and protects criminals and corrupt people, while it highlights the allegations of lying on students, youth and unemployed. It’s time … The people of the state should unite to change this disabled government in the upcoming assembly elections.”
Bihar will go to elections later this year.
