The Security Council has five permanent members with veto power: China, France, Russia, UK and America. The ten non-established members are Algeria, Denmark, Greece, Guyana, Pakistan, Panama, South Korea, Sierra Leone, Slovenia and Somalia.
The tension between India and Pakistan has increased after the April 22 terror attack in Pahgam. Greece’s permanent representative for May for May, Ambassador Evezelos Sekris, said last week that there should be a meeting when requested.
