Idaho: A pickup truck and Tour van collision Seven people have been killed near Yelostone National Park, Idaho State Police Tell.
Accident occurred on a highway on a highway before 7:15 pm on Thursday evening Henry Lake State Park In Eastern Idaho. The State Park is about 16 miles (26 km) to the west of the Yelostone National Park.
Both vehicles caught fire after the accident, Idaho State Police said in a news release. Six people died inside the Dodge Ram pickup driver and Mercedes passenger van. The van was carrying a tour group of 14 people.
Officials have not stated what happened due to the accident, which is under investigation. The Fremont County Coroner’s office had not yet released the names of those killed until Friday morning. Idaho State Police did not say how many other people were injured. Police say the air ambulance with emergency paramedics responded to the collision.
