Lucknow: The UP government on Monday launched a major anti-enacuting drive in the districts with Nepal border, cleaning illegal structures in areas up to 10 km from the border.
Bahraich DM Monica Rani said that 227 cases of encroachment in Nanpara were identified. Of these, two illegal structures were demolished, 91 sites were cleaned. In Mihipurwa, four illegal structures were demolished on Monday and 12 Sundays, with 16 government plots freed.
