Tesla makes a proposal for customers in Canada: Buy Car …

Tesla In Canada is asking customers to buy vehicles at pre-tariff prices. This proposal comes when the company prepares to increase prices in response to the ongoing trade tension. Currently, a banner is showing a message on the Canadian website of Elon Musk-led electric car manufacturer, which states, “Explore pre-tariff price inventory while making the final supply.” This message began to appear for customers in the weekend, claiming a report. It comes in the form of 25% tariff on US President Donald Trump’s imported cars and car parts, despite the 90-day stagnation on most other tariffs declared earlier this month. In response, Canada has also imposed its 25% tariff on US car imports.

According to a report by the New York Post, a Tesla sales representative at a dealership near Toronto said that pre-tariff prices are available for all models imported in Canada before implementing tariff growth.

How will these tariffs increase the prices of Tesla cars in Canada

According to the data of car blog Drive Tesla, after the current inventory is sold, customers will face high prices with some models to buy Tesla cars, with an increase of up to 22%. For example, the all-wheel drive version of the cybercharck, which now costs C $ 139,990 (about $ 101,250 USD), C $ 114,990 ($ 83,169 USD) will increase C $ 25,000 ($ 18,000 usD) from its previous price.
Tesla’s long-range model 3 sedan in Canada will increase 16% to C $ 79,990 ($ 57,855 USD), while long distance model Y SUV C $ 84,990 ($ 61,471 USD) will be more expensive.
This growth comes at a challenging time for Tesla, as the company faces a slowdown in sales. Vehicle delivery – a major indicator of sales – fell to 13% in the first quarter, and during the same period Tesla’s net profit fell to 71% rapidly.
