Paresh Rawal did not do ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ due to Vidya Vinod Chopra’s arrogance: ‘He started ignoring those with whom he started’. Hindi film news

Paresh Rawal, who has been in the industry for almost four decades, is known for his unique characters who have left an impression in the hearts of the audience. He is considered one of the best actors in Indian cinema. In an interview recently, Rawal revealed that he was going to be a part of ‘Munnabhai MBBS‘And almost signed the role of Boman Irani.
Rawal talked about it, because he was sharing the details about how Rajkumar Hirani and Abhzat Joshi came to see his drama ‘Kanji Virudh KanjiThis particular Gujarati drama was adapted in a film ‘OMG: Oh My God’, including Rawal. Incidentally, Rajkumar Hirani was making ‘PK’ after two years, which also dealt with the beliefs present in India. Rawal revealed, “It was when PK was happening, a magnificent Gujarati writer Soumya Joshi, her brother Abhijat and Raju Hirani. They were almost every show there. You see, we used to include new angles in every show.”
He said that he had come to Rawal to investigate any new dialogue which he wrote. He said, “Any new dialogues, they came and investigated. Both are very good people, despite being with Vinod Chopra for so long.”
With this sarcastic comment for Chopra, Paresh was asked about his equation with him. He revealed that VVC had forgotten the people with whom he started. He said, “He is someone who starts ignoring those with whom he started, especially after growing up in his career. I was going to do Munna Bhai. We were discussing remuneration, and in my head, I wanted 15 lakh rupees.
Interestingly, ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ was remade with Chiranjeevi in Telugu. It was titled ‘Shankar Dada MBBS‘And Rawal played the role of Boman Irani in it. Later, he played Sunil Dutt in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic ‘Sanju’. Paresh Rawal said that money is not important for him, but he did not appreciate Chopra’s attitude. “Artists are made differently. If you put one hand on my shoulders, and ask well, I will do a film for one rupee as well. But, if you throw around the attitude, I will not accept a role, even if I am paid in crores,” he said.
