IPL 2025: Cricket News returns to KKR camp for injury for injury

New Delhi: Indian fast bowler Uman Malik It has returned Kolkata Knight Riders ,KKR) Setup for a “Return to Cricket” program, continuing his rehabilitation with an injury, which stopped his participation in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
KKR’s official X account clarified that Uman has not joined as an official player, but to cooperate with the team and assistant employees.
KKR said, “Umran Malik has joined Kolkata to continue his rehabilitation and to continue the ‘Return to Cricket’ program with KKR for the remaining part of the season. He is not joining as the official sports member of the team, but will work with the team and support staff, who will work with the employees, who their best for the family!
KKR acquired Umran at his base price of Rs 75 lakh during last year’s IPL mega auction. However, due to injury, the team was brought to Chetan Sakaria, which was as its replacement in March before the season begins.

His most recent international presence was an ODI against the West Indies in July 2023, where he recorded 0/27 figures in three overs.
His last competitive cricket match was an IPL stability for SRH vs Mumbai Indians (Mi) in March last year.
Currently, KKR ranks seventh in the points table with three wins and five defeats, losing his last match by 39 runs against Gujarat Titans.
His upcoming match is against Punjab Kings (PBK) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Saturday.
