If you are from any African country, it is difficult to get a US visa, but Rwanda has been named the most difficult country to visit the US in America in 2025, the Irish star cited a recent study of the Brox Law firm, stating that the immigration landscape was analyzed after Donald Trump became President. The Trump administration has initiated a major action against the migrants who arrest and deported the migrants. This indicates that the American visa is not an entitled but a privilege and is to be preserved like a privilege.
The study focuses on four major matrix: Visa refusal rate, passport power, 100K citizens per 100K citizens and online discoveries related to immigration were issued to people per 100K. “Data were collected from the official US government sources, passport index and search analytics between January and March 2025,” the report said.

According to the study, Kenyan citizens display a huge interest in American immigration, with 2,610 discoveries – the highest number of studied countries. But they face a high visa refusal rate of 63.32 percent.
The US government has recently canceled the existing visa issued to all South Sudani passport holders and has stopped further entries of the citizens of the country due to a failed exile case. The US accused Sudan of taking advantage of Washington and announced such blanket approval during Trump’s second term.
African countries were also not included in the 2025 visa discount program. This was not a new decision, but no changes were made in relation to African countries.
